When and where are Pharmacy Visits offered?
Wednesdays 10am to 2pm: Think Pharmacy (Crn Robinson and Gympie Rd, Aspley), and
Thursdays 10am to 1pm: Amcal Pharmacy (Stewart Rd, Ashgrove – next to Coles).
 
How does a Pharmacy Visit work?
The Pharmacy Visit operates on a first-come, first-served basis. Names are put on a list and clients are seen in order. Each client is seen for a maximum of 15 minutes. It is an appropriate place to get your baby weighed etc. We advise arriving early to avoid waiting.
 
What are the advantages of a Pharmacy Visit?
Its free!
 
What are the disadvantages of a Pharmacy Visit?
It is in a public place. You have to come to Rene. 15 minutes is not a great deal of time to discuss your issues in detail.

Rene Rees is known as ‘Brisbane’s Baby Whisperer’. She is a registered nurse, a child health nurse, a registered mid-wife, a mother and a grandmother of four. She is a member of the Royal College of Nursing Australia and has over 40 years front-line experience working with and supporting babies, children and parents.

In the last thirteen years, Rene Rees has helped over 65,000 clients.

When working with babies, Rene does not teach control crying. 

Rene emphasises the importance of HOW and WHY a baby cries, not how long.
